I remembered that I was around primary 1 or 3 since my school was released after 6pm. I was taken to a van, driven by my uncle along with some of my cousins to my uncle's shophouse in Yishun (should be around that area, I don't remember if its still there or not, its a row of shophouses). Things goes well in the day but when it turns to night, something happened to me that I will never forget.
It was around 7-8pm and the row of shophouses which my uncle's and the deserted shops are separated by a empty space. Me and my cousins went down to take a look at a dog that is in one of our relative's cars that is parked almost infront of the deserted shophouses.
At that very moment, I heard a strange noise coming from the shophouses. The area was dimmly lit. It sounds like a cow (that's what I wondered to myself aloud at that time) but at this time, I am puzzled why a cow would be locked into a deserted shophouse like this, and why I didn't hear it when its daytime.
It was very loud in my ears and I wasn't afraid. Being curious, I begin to walk closer to take a peek but was stopped by my cousins who suddenly told me walk away quickly. As I got older, I noticed its no cow, its the sound of something moaning of the unexplainable. Ghosts.
