I know many people don't believe in the supernatural or so-called mysterious beings or happenings in today's world. We are in the Modern society so what do you expect. At least my friends, family and friends believe in this. We sometimes group together and tell ghost stories.
My friend, Pam* relates a story about a headless driver and a headless carabao (water buffalo). She said that these beings knock on the doors of the villagers. When the senseless people open their doors, their souls will be extracted or in other means they will be killed. You can know if they are coming because of the sound of the hooves of the carabao in the wee hours.
Jerick* also told a story about a black lady or a lady wearing a black gown or dress. It is believed that it is a lady that is still searching her vengeance. When Jerick is 10 yrs old, they went in parade. When the darkness began, he ran home. He felt suddenly the need to pee so he went to the nearby tree. To his shock he saw a black lady smiling to him!!! He ran as fast as he could so after a few minutes he returned to their house. He looked outside the window to search for it and to his horror; the black lady is in their garden and still smiling at him. He fainted and was brought to the hospital after the incident.
Cathy* told us that she saw a ghost hand in the window of her room. It looked horrible according to her because of the long nails and ugly skin. The skin was rotting. She screamed so her cousins came in to the rescue. She tell them and they don't believe so they forgotten about it. But still when Cathy is awake she hears scratches and knocks on the wall.
Another friend of mine, Kenneth* told us a story when they are in their province. His mother was pregnant that time. He has a brother who will graduate that night so her mother went and they stay in the house. When their mother is walking towards the school (she must pass along tall grasses area), she felt a strong presence that somebody or something was watching her. Suddenly an Ik-Ik (an ik-ik is a ghost that devours human flesh esp. babies or infants) sprang and tried to kill her. So she threw her pumps to the Ik-Ik and run as fast as her feet can carry her. She returned home and after a few minutes she was in labor and gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl.
Now for the last part is related to me by our maid when he was alone in our house. She said that when she is drying some plates, a shadow walks past beside her (I also experienced that event) and someone calls her every time she goes in the washing area. The voice she heard mimics the voices of my mom and grandma. I have many stories to tell but I forgot some of it so I think I will tell them to you some other time. Ok see you then BYE BYE.
