I have this friend. He was an Ah Beng during the 90s as the pai kia ah beng era we know of.

My friend Harry (not his real name) was sort of a leader in his group, but being young and naive, he thinks tattoos will make him look fiercer and more menacing! Harry soon recruited some people under him and to show that he had the experience and that he is a seasoned gangster, he went to a friends shop to get a tattoo of a chinese God called Sun wu kong(Monkey God). My friend told him that its best not to fully complete the tattoo or the spirit of the god might possess his body, but Harry didn't care. I even told him about the story of my friend having bad luck eversince he complete his full circle round his arm of barbwire...

Harry didn't listen, soon he became more and more monkey like, not in appearance but in behaviour, half man, half monkey, just like what he had on his back. Now Harry has landed himself in woodbridge. Don't laugh~~! It is not a laughing matter.
