I'm really scared of being home alone, so it saprisedmy paents when I started babysiting. I enjoy it , so my grandma (a.k.a nanny) told me this story that her nanny told her that hapened to a little girl.

Amie had no siblings, she just had mom & dad. So when her granny asked her to babysit for her two 3 year old boy twin cousins she was so xcited. She was only 11 but her parents let her. Granny's friend Macy was going out with Granny and Granny was watching the twins, so Amie watched them at Marcy's house. Everything was fine. The twins were in bed, and she was in the parlor having a soda, when it hapened. She looked into the den and saw a little boy. "Go back to bed!" Amie said . The little boy started to cry. Amie heard thunder, and rain. "Hear that?" she asked. "A storm go to bed." then the little boy said "Where's my mom? I need to find my mom." " Your mom's in California, Granny's watching you." Then she turned and looked out the window, dark lightning, she saw a women crying, dark, kightning, women again. lighting, women gone. Amie turned. The little boy was gone. Then lightning and the women's face apeared in the window.

Amie was so scared she hid in the twin's bedroom unil Marcy & granny came.

Granny asked Marcy about it, and here's the legend behind it:
20 years before this hapened the small town Marcy lived in was just a few farm houses. A women named Jamie lived in one she had a litle boy named Jacob, and a husbend named Sam. one day while Sam was working at the mill she sent Jacob to pick baerys. It was his first time doing it so he didn't know the way well. When he didn't return Jamie got scared. She called for her mother to come to the house, and when Sam came home she went off to look for Jacob. When she didn't return Sam went for them both. He returned home and said he found them both a mile apart dead to Jamie's mother. She stayed for the day, but was shocked when the police came to the home. They said that two people reported that hey saw Sam in the morning kill his son, and later in the evning his wife.

the thing is he killed his son because he hated being a father, but acsedentily left his carved dager there, he didn't remember until after his wife left, so he killed her too.

They say the mother and child haunt the town looking for eachother, but they never meet because they have to stay atleast a mile apart. They go to the houses in the town every time a new person enters in case the person knows where the mom/son is. they leave if you don't answer the boy's quetion, "Wher's my mother?"
