When I was 13 my family lived in Florida at the time. We were watching TV when a severe thunderstorm hit. At first we ignored the storm. As the storm progressed it got really bad, so my grandfather told us to turn off the TV and the lights. So now we are sitting in the dark with the only light coming from the lightning that was flashing outside. My brother swore he saw someone outside and went to the door. He saw a figure made of shadow standing on the porch. When the lightning flashed again the porch was empty. We sat there for another 5 minutes or so when the TV came back on. We thought that grandpa was using the remote to turn the TV on when we realized that there was no remotes in the house. Grandpa got up and went over to the TV and tryed to turn it off but it would not. (it was one of those old TVs that you turn the knob all the way to the left until the volume is low and then the click turns it off)So grandpa unplugged the TV but it would not go off. As we watched the TV the news was on and we found out that my cousin was killed in an automobile accident a couple of hours ago. Even today the same occurances happen every now and again just to let us know that he is watching over us.
