It was very late and in the small town of Holly Springs a woman lay awake with her two dogs by her side. The news came on, Warning! Citizens, we are issuing a serial killer on the loose. Please secure your windows and doors! The woman thought nothing of it and turned off the television and fell asleep. Not to soon after she fell asleep she woke up to an unusual sound. As if water was dripping from the tub or sink. She couldn't fall asleep from the sound so she tiptoed over to the bathroom in her bedroom. The woman checked the sink and tub to see if the pipe had busted but their was no sign of a leakage. She went back to her bed with the dripping sound gone. But again a couple hours later she woke up to the same drip. Maybe I missed it. she told herself. She looked in her bathroom again and saw it was clear. The dripping noise continued down the hall and she followed it. Touching the walls with her fingertips she entered her other bathroom. The bathroom showed no leaking so she decided to walk back. Strangley the dripping was gone so she went back to bed.
The woman thought about the news warning and kept telling herself that nothing was going to happen. But again, not too long after she fell asleep again, she heard a dripping sound. She was scared and frustrated at the same time. The woman tried covering her ears with the pillows but the sounds swarmed her head. Finally, she walked silently down the stairs to her downstairs bathroom. The dripping sound was getting very loud and she became very anxious. The door creeked as she pushed it open, hoping she was just having a dream. DRIP DRIP DRIP, her dog, hung by a rope with blood dripping from the eyes that were no longer there. Blood soaked the rope that wrapped around his neck. DRIP DRIP DRIP. She stood their in shock not knowing what to do; afraid to turn around fearing that the serial killer would be breathing right in her face. She slowly backed up and ran upstairs. she picked up her phone but found the cord cut. Her cell phone had run out of battery. She sat on her bed scared as hell. Tears streaming from her eyes. She couldn't run out of the house because there wasn't anything around for 50 miles. She lay there in her bed thinking of her death but praying for her life. The woman fell asleep without knowing what was under her bed. The killer was still at her house. The serial killer rolled out from under her bed and stood over the woman. Hope you prayed enough so you won't go to hell! The woman opened her eyes in shock, screaming and the killer stabbed her in the head.
The woman was found a couple days later hanging from her shower head next to her dead dog without any eyes and blood-soaked rope. The house was then on known to be haunted. If anyone were to go there at night you could here the DRIP DRIP DRIP of blood in the bath tub and the scream of the woman.
