Once there was a girl named Christie. That night was halloween and her brother James drove her to the place where all the other kids were trick o treating. When they were close to the place, James had to stop at the store right across the street. So he told Christie to wait in the car. He also said that when he knocks on the door 3 times, she should know that that was her brother. So James went to the store and Christie waited in the car. Suddenly she heard something go thump, thump, thump. Christie thought it was her brother. She opened the door, but no one was there. So she closed the door and waited some more. Then she heard some 3 thumps again. She opened the door one more time and no one was there. She was a little scared. Then after a few minutes, she heard 2 thumps. She opened the door and saw a police man. The police man said that her brother died. Christie couldn't believe it. She looked outside and saw her brother hanging upside down and his feet hanging. She knew why she heard the thumping. She closed the door and started crying.
