Every night something happens,the residences of Little Village are used to it now. Lucy Whenshore died not long ago and her cat Beano was ment to be looked after by Berdeene Lookmoreter. But Berdeene did not care for this cat and every night this cat was sent into the forest, but one night he did not return and Berdeene only laughed.

Berdeene's husband Luke Lookmoreter went out looking for Beano the cat and Luke never returned,people say Beano had eaten him but others say Luke was playing a trick. Berdeene could no longer take the presure so she herself went out loking for Beano and Luke.
