One day three men-David, Tom, and Scott-went on s bussiness trip to Egypt to look at pyramids.(They are historians.)Before David left he kissed his family good-bye, and his wife asked him to check the basement because she smelt gas.He agreed to please his wife, checked the asement, then kissed his 3 children good-bye, and waved good-bye as he drove away from his HUGE house. As tom left he took out the garbage, tom was still single, but happy. And he dropped off his dog at his mothers. As Scott finished packing up he kissed his only child good bye and payed the maid for everything they would need until his return. Scott could see in his childs eyes that she was sad for only a few years before her very loving mother had died from cancer. They all got on the ship and got into there rooms. A few days later they arrived at there destination, and quickly made there way to the pyramids. They were highly excited an dcould not wait to get inside. AS they made there way through they saw many bodies laying about near millions of dollars in jewelry. As they reached the end of their expedition, Scott saw an old casket sitting in the corner with designs of gold and ancient carvings inscripted in it. They could not read the carvings for they didnt know how to read ancient egyptian. But if they could then they would have known NOT to bring the casket home with them for it caused EXTREMELY bad luck.They touched it in wonder. But since they didnt they of course thought it would make an excellent addition to their collection. As they got on the ship the crew members told them that the casket would not fit on the bottom of the ship where all the cargo goes. So they agreed to have the casket shipped on the next ship out. When David got home he found out that his wife and 3 children had died a few days before his arrival in a terrible housefire. When Tom arrived home he found his dog, starved and dirty. He wandered why his dog had arrived at his home and how he got away from his mother. He drove over to his mothers, walked inside and found her lying on the floor. She had had a heart attack a few days upon his arrival. When Scott arrived home he found his whole house had been robbed. He looked all around the house for his daughter, but only found the house maid butchered and spread about the kitchen. Needless to say the 3 men were all misserable.
