Duckworth</a></b></font><br><center><img src=http://www.saviodsilva.net/poem/a/1.JPG border=0 alt=Poem></center><br><font size=3 face=arial><b>Mom's Advice</a></b></font></center><blockquote><blockquote><p align=left><font face=arial size=2><b>I hoped for a daughter, but God gave me a boy.<br>My first look at him overwhelmed me with joy!<br>Such a charming face, an enchanting smile,<br>it was Gary Jr. I wanted all the while.<br>Hurt and deserted with my second baby,<br>I thought of his uncle, and named him Stevie.<br>Divorcing me, his daddy was nowhere around,<br>missing the joy of birth and baby’s first sound.<br>Two boys to raise with no father wasn’t right.<br>Swallowing my pride, I called their daddy that night.<br>Your sons need a father, please don’t leave them alone!<br>His heart softened and he came to take us home.<br>I yearned for a daughter, though I loved my little boys.<br>Sweet, innocent, Jody, brought us greater joys.<br>Finally, quite by accident, I got my darling girl.<br>Petite, beautiful Jeannie, the boys loved to swirl.<br>I was content with my lovely family,<br>but God decided to add to our tree.<br>A perfect baby, Lisa, what more could I ask?<br>What was best for them, was my soul’s task.<br>Three fathers for my children was not in my plans,<br>but God carried me through the shifting sands.<br>Gently holding my hand, helping me to live,<br>His special love gave me strength to forgive.<br>When I decided to marry daddy number two,<br>God gave me Bradley, as no one else would do.<br>God took his father, then I met number three.<br>That’s how I had the privilege of raising Ricky.<br>Teach your child in the way that he should go,<br>God commanded, and I taught them so.<br>When he is old he will not depart from it,<br>My faith in that promise will never quit.<br>It may take years and they may be very old,<br>but, God’s promises are more precious than gold.<br>Five wonderful sons and two precious daughters,<br>I know God is drawing them to living waters.<br>So you see dear children, there are many ways,<br>my love for you has grown as has the passing days.<br>Now choices you make for your children can impart,<br>knowledge that God hears and answers a contrite heart.<br>By faith I raised you in the knowledge of the Lord.<br>The Holy Spirit’s waiting to touch your heart’s chord<br>A touch that brings unfathomable peace from above.<br>A touch God endorses to fulfill a mother’s love.</b></font></p></blockquote></blockquote><hr color=0000ca size=3><center><font size=2 face=arial><b><a href=http://www.isavo.net/poem/sk5.htm>This Poem's Index Page 1</a><br><a href=http://www.yensa.net/poem/sk5.htm>This Poem's Index 2</a><br><a href=http://www.isavo.com/poems.htm>Poetry Website</a><br><a href=http://www.saviodsilva.com>Saviodsilva</a><br><a href=http://www.isavo.com>Isavo Site</a></b></font></center><SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JavaScript SRC=http://www.saviodsilva.org/r/fantasy.js></SCRIPT></body></html>
