America is shining
With her thousand points of light
Old glory is still waving
And her eagle is still in flight.
God blessed her with great leaders
Generals big enough to cry
When they send her son's and daughter's
To defend her points of light.
God we thank you for America
The Red the White and Blue
We thank you for her points of light
We know their power comes from you.
We thank you for her heroes
Returning from foreign lands
To dream their dreams
And live their lives
Here in this hallowed land.
And for those who fell in battle
To defend her points of light
We pray you will keep them in your care
And bestow to them more light.
